Chalte Chalte use peeche chod aaye hum,

Darr tha jise khone ka, aaj use kho aaye hum,

Bhul  jaana jise, shayad, munasib nahi tha,

Aaj use bhul aaye hum!

Aaj fir wo mujhse milne aaya,

Halke se meri ankhon ko chu gaya,

Daba kar rakha tha jise saalon se,

Aaj fir usi dard ne mujhe apnaya..

Uske mehfil ki dhul the hum,

Kaapti hasraton ki tasveer the hum,

Ek toofan fir aisa aaya,

Meri maut par uska paigam aaya..

Taras gayi thi aankhein jo dekhne ko,

Usi ne mujhe umr bhar rulaaya,

Ek toofan fir aisa aaya,

Meri maut par uska paigam aaya..

Aaj fir wo mujhse milne aaya…

Aaj fir usi dard ne mujhe apnaya..

Khamoshi…

Kal raat maine unhe rula diya,

Meri khamoshi se unhone shabdon ko chura liya..

Gunahon ke apne tohfe se maine,

Unhe unjaane hi zakham de diya…

Ab kisse maafi maange hum?

Unhone jab rishta hi tod diya…

Meri khamoshi se unhone shabdon ko chura liya..

Kal raat maine unhe, aur shayad khudko bhi rula diya..!!!

“Tip, tip…” It dropped again. People thought, there was some leakage from the tomb. Scientists studied every possible aspect of it, yet, failed to discover the fact.  Rabindranath Tagore had said, “One Tear Drop… Upon the cheek of time”! And, rumors have it that its the only sign of Mumtaz’s grief at TAJ-MAHAL! Once a year during rainy season it falls on her cenotaph... Nobody till date knows the “HIDDEN-TRUTH” behind this fact!!

Honthon se roothi hai muskaan,

Kahaan jaa rahi hai ye zindagi?

Yehi soch kar hun main hairaan..

Bikharte palon me simti hun main,

Aaine se ab darti hun main,

Chalka jo dard in ankhon se kabhi,

Us toofan se darti hun main…
